Incoming Students

At the Civil Engineering Department of NOVA FCT (DEC) incoming students from all over Europe at very welcome.

The Civil Engineering course is divided in 3+2 (Bachelor and Master), and you can find the structure and syllabus of most disciplines here:

Bachelor in Civil Engineering

Master in Civil Engineering

During classes, all disciplines are expected to be given in Portuguese only (although there might be exceptions, depending on the teatcher and the attending students). Targeted support in class can be given in english, besides outside the class. Documentation in English is also referred or given. Tests and Exams may be also given in English, when requested.
